The key-word here is blackwhite. Like so many Newspeak words, this word has two mutually contradictory meanings. Applied to an opponent, it means the habit of impudently claiming that black is white, in contradiction of the plain facts.

So Many Connections
I that I would post this here on the off chance there was even one of you who'd never seen this. Even if you have, I'm sure you won't mind watching it again.
James Burke is the fucking man. I remember watching this show every time they replayed it on PBS and then when they used to do marathons of it and The Day the Universe Changed on the Learning Channel. It's pretty incredible that Burke basically predicted how we would take to the internet and foresaw most of its implications. Apart from the porn.
