TEHRAN, Iran (CNN) -- Iran fired a rocket from its newly inaugurated space center Monday, laying the groundwork for what it says will be the future launch of its first domestically produced satellite, the semi-official FARS news agency reported.

What'd be really cool is if they just started firing rockets straight out away from earth w/no targeting whatsoever b/c the rocket will just keep going until it finds the black heart of its intended target.
imagine the galactic ironies if the iranians sent a guy up there and he got possessed by that black oil from the X-Files
